Japan chicken: A yummy curry in white, creamy cashew milk

Have you ever heard about Japan chicken? Tasty and addictive, this special recipe recently took the internet by storm. The dish is prepared by mixing fried chicken with a creamy white sauce. Let’s see how it is prepared.

400 gms chicken (boneless)
2 tbsp of maida (refined flour)
2 tbsp  of corn flour
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper powder
¼ cup water
Oil (as required)
1 tbsp butter
4 cloves of chopped garlic
3 green chilli
1.5 cup milk
15 cashews 
 ½ tsp sugar
½ tsp peppercorns

1/2 tsp salt

Mix cornflour and maida with sufficient water to make a thick batter
Add in salt and pepper, mix well again
Marinate the chicken cubes in the above batter for 15 minutes
Take the cashew nuts and ensure that they are finely powdered
Heat oil in a pan
Drop chicken in hot oil and deep fry till it attains golden brown colour, and keep it aside
Heat the butter in another pan and add in finely chopped garlic and green chilly
Sauté until it turns golden brown and aromatic
Pour in milk and keep stirring
Add finely crushed cashew powder, salt, and pepper powder
When the mixture boils and thickens, switch off the flames
The creamy sauce is ready
Mix the fried chicken into it
Once the chicken gets coated in the sauce, serve it hot
