Lady’s finger fry

This is one of the easiest dishes to prepare, and a great addition to your mid day rice meal. Crunchy and spicy, this is an okra treat like never before!

250gm lady€™s finger or okra
1 tsp chilli powder
½ tsp asafoetida powder
2 dessert spoon gram powder
Salt as required
250 gm refined vegetable oil

Slice the lady€™s finger thin lengthwise
In a wok, heat oil
Meanwhile, sprinkle salt, chilli powder and asafoetida powder on the lady's finger slices
Sprinkle this mixture right before frying them, as they shouldn't go soggy
Add gram flour to this and mix them up without mashing them 
Fry in hot oil till crisp and serve immediately
